Germany Success does not use unlawful binding or repayment clauses. Repayments can – if agreed at all – only occur in clearly defined, legally permissible exceptional cases.
Permissible Exceptional Cases (Example Framework)
A repayment is only considered if all of the following conditions are met:
- It concerns a language course in the country of origin that takes place before entry.
- The discontinuation is due to fault and without a recognisable reason.
- There is a transparent right of termination.
- Instalment payments are possible.
- There is a clear and reasonable cost cap.
No Repayment for Protected Reasons
No repayment is required for demonstrable reasons such as illness, pregnancy or comparable circumstances beyond one's control.
Transparency
If repayment regulations are provided for in a project at all, they are disclosed in advance in writing, clearly and transparently – without hidden clauses.
